Voice of Peace Organization Conducts a Dialogue Session on the Psychological and Social Impacts of War in West Darfur

On Saturday, 4 May 2024, the Voice of Peace Organization, in collaboration with the Global Relief Organization and the San Pico Institute in Ardeiba, organized a dialogue and discussion session on the psychological and social impacts of war and approaches to addressing them in El Geneina, West Darfur State.
The session brought together 110 participants, including both women and men, and was attended by several key actors from civil society organizations operating in West Darfur State. The discussions focused on the far-reaching psychological and social consequences of conflict and explored practical approaches to supporting affected communities and strengthening resilience.
The program served as an important platform for constructive dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collective reflection on community-based responses to the effects of war.
At the conclusion of the event, the delegation of the Voice of Peace Organization extended its sincere appreciation to the institute’s administration and staff in recognition of their cooperation and dedicated efforts in ensuring the success of this distinguished and impactful activity.
The organization also reaffirmed its continued commitment to advancing its mission of
peacebuilding and community protection, and to sustaining initiatives that promote healing, dialogue, and social cohesion within the community.
