The Voice of Peace Organization marked Pink October on Thursday, 17 October 2024, by organizing a breast cancer awareness event at Khalwa Sheikh Narji, located in the Al-Shati Al-Wasat neighborhood of El Geneina, West Darfur State.

As part of the event, the organization conducted an awareness session on the importance of early detection, the risks associated with breast cancer, and general breast health awareness, under the slogan: “Early Detection Brings Safety and Reassurance.”

The celebration witnessed a strong turnout of women from the neighborhood, reflecting the community’s growing interest in health awareness and preventive care.

In addition, the Voice of Peace Organization distributed 100 dignity kits during the event, each containing essential personal care items, as part of its commitment to supporting women’s health, dignity, and well-being.

Through this initiative, the organization reaffirmed its dedication to promoting community health awareness and empowering women through education, prevention, and humanitarian support.
